designer clothes

I generally dress in casual clothes that you can buy at any department store, but every now and then I want to buy something extra special. If you go to places like Nordstrom's or Sax, you will pay a fortune. For me, I don't wear designer clothes enough to justify the cost. I have looked for discount designer clothes before, but I think that defeats what the labels are trying to do. The cheaper you can buy it, the less value people place on the brand. So, I always try my local consignment stores for clothes. These are usually beautiful designer clothes that people can't fit into anymore or are out of the style. Being out of style isn't a good thing, but the idea that the designer clothes don't fit anymore, that I can work with. These clothes aren't dirt cheap because the store needs commission too, but they are a fair bargain for designer clothes. The great thing about owning high quality, designer clothes is that they last forever. That works great for buying things on consignment.
