I recently discovered that there are some good places to buy these items online used, and they are much cheaper than buying them in local retail stores off the rack. I can get these gently used items for less than half of what they cost new, so it's easier on my budget to get them this way. The delivery is fast, and the return policies usually excellent. Designer baby clothes are usually really well constructed from first rate fabrics, and babies are not hard on clothes to start with (except for food spills), so the babies outgrow the clothes long before they wear them out. Now toddlers are a different story altogether...
