designer clothesThere is an old proverb which asserts that the clothes do not make the man. I agree with this proverb to a certain extent. The content of your character is definitely more significant than the price of your wardrobe. Nevertheless, designer clothes do help when it comes to making a favorable impression on other people.
Perhaps you are of the opinion that people who adorn themselves in expensive designer clothes are superficial. You might be right, but let me ask you a question. Let’s suppose that you are a woman who has arranged to go on two dates. The first date turns up to meet you wearing a dirty old t-shirt, jeans that are hanging off his backside and an old pair of sneakers. The second date turns up wearing a sharp Armani suit and designer sunglasses. Which of the two dates would you be most interested in seeing a second time? If you chose the former, you are lying to yourself.
Everybody dislikes a shallow individual who obsessively purchases designer clothes and is preoccupied with his or her appearance. However, nobody can deny that designer clothes are definitely more impressive than a slovenly wardrobe.
