Not Enough Plus Size Designer Clothes |

There aren’t enough plus size designer clothes. In fact, the entire fashion industry seems to have something against ample figured women. Of course, there are a few labels that manufacture plus size designer clothes, but you can count them on one hand. You can buy plus size designer clothes by designers such as Gianfranco Ferre, Marina Rinaldi, Anne Klein, and Oscar de la Renta. However, if you are larger than a dress size 12, you cannot wear Gucci or Prada. It is as though the fashion industry holds the opinion that only stick thin women have the right to dress well and look elegant. Last year people prattled about Prada using a plus sized model during Milan’s fashion week. Lara Stone, the model in question, is not actually plus sized. Instead she is a woman of normal proportions who actually has breasts. Rather than starving herself, it looks as though she might actually give in and eat something every once in a while. I think it the fashion industry still has a long way to go when it comes to catering to women of all sizes. It might be a while before top labels like Gucci and Prada sell plus size designer clothes.
