Why wear designer clothes? The answer is simple, and it dates back to our ancient ancestry and can even be seen in the animals around us.

From the dawn of time, propagation of the species has always been determined by selection of the best mate. This usually revolved around a careful discrimination of physical features like one's physique and overall presence, and today is no different with designer clothes. As much as we want to say we have "grown up" as a society, the only thing that has come very far is our technology. Our intuitions, thoughts and so on are still as ancient as they ever were. With that comes an appreciation for a mate that wears quality designer clothes because, just as a bird that has good feathers gets picked to go into the next round - so does the person who dresses right for the occasion - whatever that occasion may be (a job, a date, etc.).
